WELCOME TO THE COMMUNITY

Hi! Eposi here.

I’m high key elated at your interest and support of this project. Myself and my incredible team of artists are working diligently to get you high quality art at an affordable price.

If you are not already, find me on Tik Tok primarily and IG (@eplleseed), where I share stories and folk tales adjacent to the story we are telling with SONGS OF THE SAHARA.

It is my honor to be on this journey with you, as it is already a lived dream come true. The twelve year old version of me got in constant trouble at ‘SAKER’, my boarding school in Limbe, Cameroon, for spending time writing fiction and YA comics instead of doing my homework. It is a miracle that I grew up with that fire in tact, have spent years refining my writing, and am now finally getting a chance to work with professional graphic novel creators to produce a piece of work I am truly proud of. ‘SAKER’ gave me my first writing opportunity, where I was allowed to join a local short story competition in Limbe, where the winners would be published in a collection of short stories of all the winners. At 11 years old, I won 3rd place. I still have a copy of the printed work, although I have been a bit hard on the 11 year old version of myself when I read it back. I have learned to be more kind to that little girl and thank her for taking a step forward and trying.

The adult version of her is here, with grace for her and has kept the dream alive.

I have spent the last 12 years traveling to different African countries (North, South, East, West and Central) to listen to voices of lived experiences on the ground. Folk tales important to different people and am layering them into the historical fiction base of SONGS OF THE SAHARA.

I look forward to taking this journey with you.

Thank you for coming along with me.

Oma Nanu,

Eposi.
