SYNOPSIS

A physically impaired Prince is forced from his ancestral home on a journey of transformation, forging him into the Warrior he must become to defeat a ruthless WarLord, and so reclaim his inheritance.

‘SONGS OF THE SAHARA’ depicts the fictionalized journey of the sidelined Prince ‘DJATA’, second son of FAAMA/KING MAGHAN of KANGABA, a kingdom within the fading WAGADU EMPIRE, in 13th century West Africa.

SONGS OF THE SAHARA, AN EPIC

This story is an adventure-drama and fantasy series for the YA audience told in the graphic novel format. The series draws heavily from real 13th century West African history.

Story and Creative Direction by Eposi N. Litombo (@Eplleseed), the series is illustrated by lead artist Alex Laney and a team of Eplleseed contracted artists.
